'MUSLIM CULTURE IN THE AGE OF IDENTITY POLITICS' What does it mean to be a Muslim in the west in the 21st century? How has our identity and circumstance as Muslims changed over time?

Hanaa Hasan is the founder and editor in chief of the Qarawiyyin Project, an initiative dedicated to reviving Islamic discourse amongst Muslim women. A Middle East researcher, she is also former presenter on the Islam Channel, a student of Islamic sciences and a Quran teacher.

Iman studies Social Science at Harvard University with a special focus on Islam. She is also the founder of an ethical North African clothing line 'Tuniq' and has spoken at events previously.
