Welcome to Oxford!

We hold events on every day of Freshers' Week.
Our Freshers’ Week will be the first opportunity to meet the majority, if not all, OUISoc members and get a small taste of the kinds of events we put on all year round.

Starting out in Oxford can be a daunting experience, especially if you come from an area that has a large Muslim population to one in which Muslims are a minority. It can be easy to feel overwhelmed, but know that you have a home here in the ISoc! All of us on the committee as well as general members of the society are always willing to talk to you and help with any questions or concerns you may have.

Welfare

We aim to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone in our ISoc and are aware that Freshers’ Week can often be the hardest time for students, so we strongly advise to keep in contact with our amazing Welfare team anytime you need us.

What to expect

This year, we're expecting to have tours of the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, our annual Quiz Night with bigger and better prizes, Sisters' Mocktails and Ice Skating, and Brothers Football and Paintballing! Click below to see the range of events we hold.

Are you coming to Oxford in 2018?
