Salaam everyone! My name's Supti Akhtar a third year historian studying at St Hilda's college and your Female Vice-President! The OUIsoc is genuinely one of the most welcoming and active societies here in Oxford and having been on committee for almost two years now, I cannot imagine my university experience without it. This year I'm in charge of helping with the general runnings of committee life but I'm equally as dedicated to hearing any concerns minor or major you may have, so please never hesitate to drop me an email or message at any time. Whether you're here for a day or six years, insha'Allah we can help to make your journey here a beneficial one 🙂

Salaam everyone! I’m Ahmed - a 3rd year medic at St Edmund Hall and current Male Vice-President. As you probably know by now, the ISOC is one of the most multifaceted societies in Oxford - it truly encompasses all aspects of university life. This year, I’ll mainly be overseeing activities relating to islamic awareness, integrating with the local community and improving access to Oxford (watch this space!). Please do get in touch with any queries regarding these and beyond; it would be a pleasure to help! “O son of Adam, do not be afraid of a tight livelihood when My treasuries are full and My treasuries never run out… O son of Adam! Don’t ask me for tomorrow’s sustenance, just as I have not asked you for tomorrow’s deeds. O son of Adam! I love you, so by My right over you, love Me!" - Hadith Qudsi
